The Platinum Card® from American Express got a big update in September 2025. One of the new benefits that was added was quarterly $75 lululemon credit (up to $300 per year). I personally adore this new benefit since I was already a regular lululemon shopper.
With this new credit to burn, you’re probably wondering what you should buy at lululemon, right? Don’t worry, I have you covered.
However, this isn’t just another list of the best things you can buy lululemon using your Amex Platinum credit. I’m including only items that personally own and have put to the test (including my favorite travel pants, my favorite wool-blend layering shirt, my travel purse, and my favorite wear-anywhere pants).
So, grab your American Express Platinum card (the mirror version if you’re cool) and let’s go shopping at lululemon.

How to Use the Amex Platinum $75 Lululemon Credit
The first thing you need to know about how to use the Amex Platinum lululemon credit is that you must enroll in the benefit first. To do this, just head to your Amex Platinum account and look for the Rewards & Benefits section. Look for the $300 lululemon credit and click on Enroll.

Once you’re enrolled all you need to do is use your Amex Platinum card to pay for your purchases at any U.S. lululemon store (excluding outlets) or online at lululemon.com. That’s it. You’ll automatically get a credit of up to $75 per quarter.

My Favorite Things to Buy at Lululemon With the Amex Platinum Credit
Here are some great things to buy for at lululemon using your Amex Platinum credit. I own all of these items and have put them to the test. These are things I wear and use regularly so rest assured, they don’t suck.
1. BeCalm Mid-Rise Wide-Leg Pants – $98
Stop everything you’re doing right now and go buy these pants. The BeCalm Mid-Rise Wide-Leg Pants from lululemon are my favorite pants ever. They are as comfortable as sweatpants but can be dressed up a bit if needed (I have absoluetly paired them with a cute top and sandals for a work dinner).
For a long time these were my go-to travel pants but now I rotate them with the pants mentioned below. If you’re a short girl like me, these will be high-rise (ignore where they are on the model) and you’ll need to get them hemmed (you can have this done for free in a lululemon store), but you won’t be sorry.

2. Dance Studio Mid-Rise Pant – $128
As a shortie (I’m 5′ tall) I am always looking for mid-rise pants that come in a short or petite length, and these Dance Studio Mid-Rise Pans from lululemon are fantastic. They’re lightweight and don’t wrinkle so they are perfect for traveling.

3. Swiftly Wool Long Sleeve – $98
A nice basic long-sleeve shirt is essential when traveling in the fall and winter. I love the Swiftly Wool Long Sleeve shirt from lululemon because it fits great and has a wool blend so you can wear it multiple times without having to wash it. For all of my petite friends out there, go for the waist length version (this is what I have) — it will actually fit you correctly (unlike regular shirts that are always too long).

4. Clippable Nano Pouch – $24
The Clippable Nano Pouch is a fun add-on to any lululemon bag or any bag you already have. It features a D-ring, exterior card slot, and zip closure. I got this for my daughter to go with her lululemon backpack.

5. Everywhere Backpack 22L – $78
I purchased this Everywhere Backpack 22L for my sixth-grade daughter. It’s a great size and it has held up well. She loves the fun color she picked and I love that it’s fairly affordable (I purchased this before Amex introduced the lululemon credit). If you use your quarterly $75 credit, this backpack will cost just $3 out of pocket. What a great deal!

6. Everywhere Crossbody Bag 2L – $78
I purchased this Everywhere Crossbody Bag 2L to use as my go-to travel purse. It’s made of water repellant fabric, has plenty of pockets, zip closures, and an adjustable strap. It comes in lots of fun colors, but, of course, I went for the leopard print.

7. Scuba Oversized Full-Zip Hoodie – $138
I love the Scuba Oversized Full-Zip Hoodie for traveling. It does run a bit large, but it’s cropped, so it still works for petites. I purchased the Rainforest Green color, but it comes in lots of other bright and neutral options.

8. Women’s Alpaca Wool-Blend Cable-Knit Pom Beanie – $68
I’ve been looking for a new winter hat and when I saw the Aplaca Wool-Blend Cable-Knit Pom Beanie I hit the purchase button immediately (I couldn’t resist the purple color). I can’t wait to try it out on my upcoming Christmas Markets trip.

9. 3-Pack Daily Essential Crew Socks – $38
Lululemon makes nice socks and this Daily Essential Crew Socks 3-Pack is a great deal.

Final Thoughts
I was thrilled when American Express announced the updates to the Platinum card because it now includes a quarterly credit of up to $75 at lululemon (up to $300 per year). This is a great opportunity to refresh your travel wardrobe, treat yourself to a new bag, or (if you’re boring) stock up on basics like socks (but they’re good socks, so I can’t fault you for that).
I’ve shopped at lululemon over the years and have gone ham recently with 2 Amex Platinum cards in my household, so everything I have shared in this post is stuff I own, use, and love.
